Both of those guys look like the late, lamented Foo (aka the Apocalypticat). Foo was considerably larger the cats you show here - the two together would have made a Foo.
Foo rarely walked but when she did she lumbered. Her companion was Gonzo. As it turned out, Gonzo was young and kittenish and Foo was old and large.
Still, Foo was tolerant and they shared many sleeping hours together and Foo also bore Gonzo's much more peppy nature.
However, every now and again a well placed swat in the kisser would send Gonzo rolling across the room, a loving reminder that while there is love, there is also pain - at least when you become a pain in the butt, as we all do at times.
This is true love.
