Such a great book, but ...

I am loving The Magicians by Lev Grossman except for his description of Estonian as a "crooked, gypsy-like language." Please come up with your own description of Estonian. I am thinking of compiling a list for the letter that he will shortly be receiving from me. I was thinking "lyrical and vowel-rich."

As opposed to my ancestor's Czech language--"choppy and unafraid to forgo vowels"...

Estonian is a beautiful and a very hard language which would look like it's crooked but I musr say it's not crooked if you actually learn it but it is a language what will take you at least 10 years and maybe more to become fluent. I have spoken estonian my entire life (20 years) and i'm still not compleatly fluent and i'm still learning.
